THE TIME IS NOW
Friends of the Valley,
We are faced with the worst times in generations. The poor economy, lack of good jobs, small business struggles, erosion of our manufacturing base and high taxes are burdens that we continue to carry. Government and taxes grow at alarming rates while we WHILE WE PAY THE PRICE. We need to ask ourselves 3 questions:
 WHERE ARE WE NOW?
• Mahoning County unemployment is 12.8% with a state average of 10.6%
• Our manufacturing base is eroding
• Housing is at a stand still
• High foreclosures
• One of the highest income, business and excise taxes
• The “forgotten” part of our state
WHERE DO WE WANT TO GO?
• We want to advance our position in Columbus to show the true value of our county
• We want security in our jobs and future
• We want to grow our quality of life
• We want to be able to keep more of our hard earned money
HOW WILL WE GET THERE?
• New leadership
• New ideas
• A balanced government
• With elected representatives that have experience in the private sector
• With individuals that find solutions to our problems as opposed to managing the symptoms
